The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested, in separate cases, some individuals, including a woman, of different nationalities and seized 3 KG of narcotics and psychotropic substances worth around BD51,000.
They were identified and arrested after the launch of investigations into the received information. Illicit drugs and narcotics money were seized. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
The directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report complaints, observations and assistance through the anti-drug hotline 996 to promote community partnership. Confidentiality is protected.
