The General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing has held the first Ghabgha for social media influencers in the “Fael Khair” initiative for those in jail for unpaid loans. This initiative is part of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism.
The Director-General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing said that the initiative is a thriving modern model of humanitarian work per the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and follow-up of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He appreciated the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and his support for the initiative, which is in line with the Interior Ministry's modernisation and development approach.
It is also part of the comprehensive national strategy to protect human rights, security, and the economy, providing support to protect citizens' dignity and meet their needs. He hailed the campaign's success and the influencers' active participation in helping the initiative’s beneficiaries. He thanked the supporters and partners for their contributions to the initiative.
The event included a documentary on the contributors' and the initiative's success and accomplishments. At the end of the event, he honoured the supporters and partners of media personalities and influencers through their e-messages of the initiative.
