Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) conducted joint inspection campaigns in the Capital Governorate in association with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and the Capital Police Directorate. The campaigns aimed to inspect workers' adherence to the residency rules and regulations and observe violations or illegal activities. Several violators were arrested and legal proceedings are being taken.
The NPRA said the campaign was part of ongoing efforts to tackle violations in cooperation with concerned authorities.
