The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science arrested, in three separate cases, three men and one woman of different nationalities. More than 2 kg of illicit drugs worth around BD25,000 were seized.
They were identified and arrested, and narcotics and drug-making tools were seized after the launch of investigations into the received information. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the cases to the Public Prosecution.
To promote community partnership and protect society from drug addiction, the directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report illicit drug complaints through hotline 996. Confidentiality will be protected.
