The General Directorate of Media and Security Culture of the Interior Ministry organises a training course on spokespersons and dealing with the media. The course started on April 21 and will conclude on May 7, with the participation of officers and officials from all Interior Ministry directorates out of the media's role in reinforcing communication and community partnership.
The course is part of a series of courses to promote the role of the media and transparency principles. It also aims to inform the public about facts and information to fight rumours and wrong information.
The course, which is being held in cooperation with the Radio and Television Division and presented by Media Figure Nadia Al Turki, focuses on various topics, including press conferences, the role of the spokesperson, and accuracy and credibility principles.
