The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science took part in a drug control conference of Southwest Asia, that was held in Islamabad during the period 29-30 April 2024.
The conference tackled a number of topics related to modern cross-border smuggling methods, methods of transporting narcotic substances, and transnational organised crimes related to drug gangs. The conference also addressed countries’ experiences in combating drug smuggling, as well as strengthening efforts in drug prevention and control.
Participation in the conference comes within the framework of strengthening the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to combat this scourge, and exchange expertise on drugs prevention.
