The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, chairman of the Maan (together) programme against addiction committee, hailed the winning of the programme of the Kuwait Creativity Award 2023 in the awareness category. He attributed the milestone to the endless support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He also acknowledged the efforts of the committee’s members.
He highlighted this while chairing the committee’s periodic meeting, which explored its most important achievements. He stressed the significance of promoting community partnership.
The meeting discussed cooperative work and community partnership, stressing the importance of coordination with the Ministry of Social Development to implement the programme at the Child Protection Center to enhance intellectual security for all segments of society, in addition to coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and the General Directorate of Civil Defence to draft-awareness curricula about Public and personal safety for school students.
The programme's director, Ali Ameeni, highlighted the outcomes of Maan’s activities during the academic year 2023-2024 and the strategic plan 2029-2023.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the NPRA Undersecretary stressed the importance of working to develop all security and community programmes.
