Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs at the Interior Ministry Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed met with Zainab Salman Al-Awainati, Assistant Undersecretary for Welfare and Social Rehabilitation at the Ministry of Social Development.
Brigadier Ammar Al Sayed welcomed Mrs Zainab and the accompanying delegation and discussed frameworks of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the fields of family guidance, solving family disputes, and presenting projects for people with disabilities.
The meeting also focused on spreading legal awareness and education in addition to launching sustainable projects to serve citizens and focusing on enabling the elderly to use technology.
The meeting discussed the proposal to establish a joint database to implement specific training and awareness programmes for people in family protection centres. It also discussed increasing awareness among various segments of society in order to reduce crime rates. It emphasised the benefit of the expertise of the human cadres in training, awareness and preparation of studies and research.
