The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received employees of the Passports Directorate at the Bahrain International Airport for winning the third position in the Skytrax World Awards 2024 as the best airport passport services from the Airport Council International. The directorate also obtained the first position in airport services. Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-Up, Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Dossairi and Director of Ports, Lt-Col Nasser Al Jiran, attended.
He hailed the staff’s efforts and extraordinary accomplishments. He said that the milestones are part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He noted the role of the passport employees in achieving excellence in services to promote Bahrain as a leading regional centre in aviation and tourism. He asserted the continuation of training the workforce to meet the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2050.
