The Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain has won second place in the Informatics Index of the Shaikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award for the ministry’s Instagram account. The winning of the award was among 1400 Arab accounts that participated in the 23rd session in Kuwait.
The Interior Ministry’s account was launched 12 years ago and has nearly a quarter million followers.
The Shaikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award includes medals and prizes that are awarded annually. It is an independent, non-profit organisation that aims to develop human capabilities in informatics development and promote the role of institutions in the field of informatics.
