The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, chaired a coordination meeting to discuss the organising process of the Summer Camp that will be launched in July. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Public Security Brigadier Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Academy of Police, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Assistant Undersecretary for Administration Affairs, Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
The Chief welcomed the attendees, highlighting that the summer camp is part of the implementation of the vision and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote a sense of nationalism among youth and voluntary work. He hailed the dedication of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to provide all support for the success of the camp that was launched in 2009.
He said that the camp is part of the principles of the reform era of His Majesty the King and contributes to promoting nationalism, Islamic and Arab identity, loyalty values and belonging to the nation. It also aims to spread a culture of peace and tolerance and protect youth from crimes by enabling them to spend their free time in useful activities. He highlighted the significance of coordination and follow-up between all the Interior Ministry directorates for the success of the camp’s activities.
