The Financial Intelligence National Centre (FINC) delegation led by the FINC CEO, Vice-Chairman of Egmont Group and Regional MENA Representative, Shaikha May bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the 30th annual Egmont Plenary convened from June 2 and 7, 2024 in Paris. A total of 177 representatives from the Financial Intelligence Units (FIU) and international organisations participated and contributed to the meeting.
The Egmont Group (EG) Plenary focused on one central theme, the “Next Generation FIU”, discussing the development of the future workforce of FIU, the use of technology in future FIU, and the role of the FIU in addressing emerging crime types.
