The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Head of Maan (together) committee against violence and addiction, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received President of the Royal University for Women, Dr Riyadh Hamza.
He received the results of an analytical study to measure the impact of the programme's approach to protecting children in cyberspace. The study was conducted in cooperation with the Children Cyberspace Protection Unit, the first research cooperation between Maan and the university.
Shaikh Hisham praised the university's role in conducting scientific studies and research and its efforts to achieve community partnership with the programme. He stressed the importance of developing scientific and academic research, using their findings as data for future studies and working to publish the study in International journals for the benefit of all academics and researchers in various relevant fields.
The University President hailed the role of the programme in tackling violence, addiction and crimes to protect youth.
The study included an analysis of the results of pre- and post-tests on a sample of 6,000 females and 12,000 tests during the application of the curriculum lessons.
