The General Directorate of Civil Defence and the Supreme Council for Environment participated in the first coordination meeting for the regional project on strengthening Arab cooperation and coordination in preparedness and response to nuclear and radiological emergencies. The event was held from June 9 to 13 in Jordan by the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
