The Interior Ministry showjumping team won first place in a showjumping competition in Italy despite heavy rains. The winning in the second round of the competition is added to a series of winnings, as it was held with the participation of 142 knights from 16 countries.
On this occasion, the team members expressed their sincere thanks and pride for the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. They also appreciated the interest and care of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Council, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. They highlighted that this support represents a solid foundation for the team’s achievements.
They gifted the winning to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his support provided to the team and other ministry’s teams. They also hailed the follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan. They thanked His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation, for his dedication to promoting cooperation in a way that would advance the sport of show jumping.
