Chief of Public Security Lt. General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan visited Hidd Police Station at Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate as part of his field visits to the Public Security Directorates. Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Major General Adel Abdulla Amin and Director-General of Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Sultan Ahmed Al Kaabi accompanied the Chief.
The Chief of Public Security asserted that the visit came in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to continue developing security work and providing the best police services to citizens and residents, as he reviewed the working mechanism after implementing the project to unify the security centres procedures and reports, in terms of receiving reports, following them up, and referring them to the competent authorities, and implementing it in all security centres in the Kingdom. This step aims to unify the tasks, work mechanisms, and police procedures in dealing with cases and reports in a way that ensures accurate performance and preserves the rights of the people, in addition to activating the role of continuous monitoring and auditing of the work progress of the centres in addition to taking the necessary measures in accordance with the law and defining a unified reference for the procedures and systems used in security centres to facilitate communication and exchange of information.
The Chief indicated that the project to unify procedures for security centres and reports came within the framework of implementing the modernisation and development strategy in all the Ministry’s sectors and benefiting from the latest information technologies to enhance police capabilities to keep pace with security issues and adopt smart technologies and modern work methods, focusing on training and qualifying cadres in a way that contributes to raising the quality and efficiency of the services provided by the Ministry of Interior through the security directorates in the governorates and the rest of the relevant competent directorates. Also, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the project team working on unifying the procedures of the security centres for the services included in the project that are provided with the highest levels of efficiency, accuracy and speed, stressing the importance of continuing work in all the coming stages to complete the project for the complete transformation of police station services.
The Chief of Public Security toured the centre during which he inspected the progress of work in the offices and sections, and reviewed the procedures taken in dealing with cases and reports. He called on the centre’s employees to make more efforts to achieve quality work, wishing them good luck and success.
