Chief of Public Security: Summer camp for youth continues its success

The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, paid an inspection visit to the Royal Academy of Police (RAP)  summer camp, which is organised in cooperation with Tamkeen and aims to invest youth’s time and energies in building their capabilities and knowledge and reinforcing national values. The Chief was briefed on the workshops, lectures, sports, and scientific activities provided. 
The Chief highlighted that the camp continues its success for the 15th year in a row under the comprehensive development journey of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the royal leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. 
The camp's primary objectives are to promote national values, foster a sense of belonging, enhance capabilities, and unearth talents. 
The Chief hailed the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the camp, which was launched in 2009 and is popular among the Kingdom’s youth. 
He also thanked His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his dedication to providing the required support to achieve the targeted goals and protect and guide youth for the community's best interests. He hailed RAP, Tamkeen and cooperation organisations for their role in the camp's success by providing the best programmes and services to develop the participants' skills. 
He also valued the dedication and cooperation of the participants and the confidence and support of their parents. He affirmed the continuation of developing programmes to create a generation capable of taking responsibility and adopting positive plans to serve the nations. He also thanked Tamkeen and all the supportive organisations and wished the best to all.
