The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science had arrested, in separate cases, several individuals, of different nationalities and confiscated more than 2 KG of narcotics worth more than BD24,000.
Investigation into the received information led to the identifying and arresting of the suspects. Narcotics and drug money were confiscated. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
