Northern Governor, Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdul Al Hussein Al Asfoor, has visited several community centres (Mattams) in the Northern Governorate to review their preparations for the Ashoora season and to assess the required needs in cooperation with the competent service authorities.
On this occasion, the Northern Governor emphasised the importance of communication with different segments of society to strengthen community partnership and ensure that all necessary requirements are met for the proper marking of religious events and the enhancement of public safety for participants.
The Northern Governor hailed the cooperation of heads of Mattams and Hussainiya processions with all concerned authorities to ensure a successful season. He also stressed the importance of their role in for a safe and secure season.
