The Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, hailed the Prime Minister's Award for Journalism, stressing that the honouring of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflects the great interest of the wise leadership in journalists, pointing out that this award is an incentive and motivation to develop journalistic work.
This came during the weekly Muharraq Governorate Council. Present were Deputy Muharraq Governor Brigadier Jassim Mohammed Al Ghatam and a number of Muharraq residents who expressed their thanks to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for the great role in implementing the law and maintaining security.
The council discussed the latest developments in a number of projects in various areas of the governorate, the issue of parking spaces and facilitating access to them for residents, citizens and residents, and the importance of participating in the by-elections for the first constituency in Muharraq Governorate, which will be held on September 7.
