The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy Head of the internal Auditing Supervisory Committee, attended a ceremony to mark the end of an internal auditing course held by Ernst & Young Company. The course was attended by 21 auditors from the Quality and Financial and Administrative Control Directorate of the Interior Ministry.
He thanked the company for its positive role in enhancing the participants' performance by drafting risk registers, operational and compliance audits, and financial and technical audits, as well as the participation of auditors with the company in auditing several of the Ministry’s directorates.
He hailed the wise vision of His Excellency the Interior Minister, the head of the committee, to enhance the Interior Ministry's supervisory and auditing work by forming the Quality and Financial and Administrative Control Directorate.
The event concluded with the honouring of the participants and organisers.
