His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today at Al Sakhir Palace, Major General Bassam Mohammed Khamis Al Maraj, the newly appointed President of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
HM King Hamad congratulated Major General Al Maraj and commended his extensive experience and contributions to the service of the Kingdom and its citizens, wishing him continued success in his new duties.
HM King Hamad also commended the role of the Ministry of Interior and all its members in maintaining the security and stability of Bahrain, safeguarding its achievements, ensuring the well being of citizens and residents, and providing quality services with exceptional efficiency.
On his part, the President of the NIA expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HM the King for obtaining the royal trust and HM's guidance.
