As part of international cooperation efforts, the Director of the Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction discussed the outcomes of a field study on peaceful coexistence and combating extremism curricula at the 36th Conference of D.A.R.E International in California.
The curricula were applied to more than 4,000 students in 20 intermediate and secondary boy and girl schools.
The study concluded with a highly positive outcome, achieving a score of 4.8 out of 5 on the Likert scale, a method commonly used in psychological tests to measure behaviours and preferences. This result indicates that 96% of the students effectively utilised the skills imparted by the programme.
