His Highness Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, inaugurated the “Green Southern Governorate” event to promote sustainable development, in cooperation with the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior.
On this occasion, HH the Governor confirmed the governorate’s efforts to developing and promoting various environmental initiatives through cooperation and coordination with government and private sectors. This is to serve community partnership frameworks and achieve the governorate's objectives.
The event included several types of activities for youth, entrepreneurs, and children. Additionally, there was a corner for food trucks, attracting participants of different ages. The event also saw the participation of several directorates of the Ministry of the Interior, where representatives highlighted their tasks and duties, the level of excellence reached, and reviewed the latest services provided to the public.
