Concerning media reports about five Bahrainis arrested by the Yemeni legitimate authority, the Legal Affairs Directorate of the Interior Ministry asserted that its Yemeni counterpart notified the Interior Ministry shortly after their arrest. The directorate said they were arrested for security reasons. They are in good health while the Yemeni authorities carry out legal proceedings. Notably, the Interior Ministry followed up on the case for their return to Bahrain after the required procedures are being taken.
