Chief of Public Security Lt. General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan attended a graduation ceremony for participants in several specialised courses held at the Maritime Training Wing of the Coast Guard. A total of 27 trainees from the Coast Guard, the Royal Bahraini Naval Force, and the National Guard participated in these courses.
The Chief of Public Security hailed the participants’ professional performance in the programmes and courses. He emphasised that these efforts reflect the objectives of the development and modernisation strategy implemented by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. This strategy places a strong focus on the human element, supporting and enhancing its capabilities as the core of the development process through training and academic and technical qualification to achieve the highest levels of performance.
The Chief of Public Security highlighted the importance of these courses in enhancing the participants' capabilities to face future challenges in maritime security. He praised the participation of members from the Royal Bahraini Naval Force and the National Guard in the courses held by the Coast Guard, noting the significance of unifying concepts and practices to achieve the highest levels of integration and joint work to ensure safety in our territorial waters and secure our maritime borders.
The Maritime Training Wing Commander noted that the objectives and outcomes of the training programmes and courses are part of the annual plan of the Coast Guard. This plan aims to build the capacities of the personnel and elevate the human resources to keep pace with technological advancements and security.
At the end of the ceremony, the Chief of Public Security distributed certificates to the participants.
