Traffic and security directorates secure the return of students to schools

Coinciding with the return of students to schools, the General Directorate of Traffic and the security Directorates of the Ministry of Interior participated in reinforcing the ministry's strategy of community partnership to ensure the safety and security of everyone, including students.

In this context, the police from the security directorates, through Community Police, the General Directorate of Traffic, Najdah Police, and Civil Defence, carry out their duties by ensuring the safety and security of students and educational sites and facilitating traffic flow, especially during peak hours.

Several members of the Ministry of Education hailed the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in ensuring a successful return to school, highlighting the fruitful partnership between state institutions and relevant authorities. Mr. Ali Ahmed Madan, Head of Schools in the First Educational Operations Directorate, hailed the role of the Ministry of Interior as it deployed its personnel before the start of the academic year to conduct inspection tours and ensure the readiness of roads, as well as the routine security and safety measures, commending the role of the Community Police.

Principal of Al-Budaiya Primary Girls School Bushra Al Shaer, principal of Karranah Primary Girls School Amani Al Sada and Principal of Buri Primary Girls School Rabab Al Musawi lauded the role of the Ministry of Interior personnel in organising the traffic flow and ensuring the safety and security of the students around schools.  

Parents of students expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Interior, especially to  His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, for the ongoing support and supervision provided by the ministry's directorates to ensure the safety of the children. They acknowledged the ministry’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for academic achievement and success. Parents commended the continuous presence of police officers in the morning and afternoon, assisting students while entering and exiting schools, and ensuring their safety.
