Al Amn FM radio show, organised by the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture in cooperation with Bahrain Radio, was hosted on Thursday by Head of Traffic Awareness Captain Kholood Yahya Ibrahim and Head of Media Monitoring and Follow-Up Captain Asma Al Mutawa. They discussed concepts to enhance traffic safety for road users.
During the meeting, Captain Kholood stressed that the General Directorate of Traffic continues to spread traffic culture and awareness among all road users and works to reduce violations and accidents by providing awareness lectures in multiple languages.
For her part, Captain Asma stressed the importance of cooperation between drivers and parents with the traffic police, community police and school guards during the school year, especially with the increase in traffic during this period. She added that social media has effectively contributed to raising awareness among drivers and road users by emphasising the importance of adhering to traffic laws and spreading various awareness messages, stressing the need to monitor all types of traffic violations posted on social media and take the necessary legal measures against them.
