His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received today the Ambassador of Yemen to the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr Ali Hassan Al Ahmadi. Deputy Interior Minister and His Excellency Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence attended.
HE Interior Minister welcomed the ambassador hailing the historic relations and ties between the two countries and highlighting the importance of continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination, especially in security-related fields.
During the meeting, the situation of the five Bahraini citizens detained in Yemen, who were held for security reasons, and the results of efforts made within the framework of communication and coordination with Yemeni official authorities. They also discussed areas of security cooperation and several topics that contribute to developing joint work between the two countries.
