In the presence of the Commander of (RAP), Major-General Fawaz Al Hassan, the Training Directorate, in cooperation with RAP and the University of Huddersfield, has held a ceremony to launch two postgraduate programmes. Twenty-six students joined the artificial intelligence programme, and 24 joined the disaster and emergency planning and Resilience postgraduate programme.
RAP Commander thanked and appreciated the students who are affiliates of the Interior Ministry and military organisations in Bahrain. He encouraged them to benefit from this valuable education opportunity to build their capabilities and skills in serving Bahrain’s security and stability. He wished them all the best in their studies.
From his side, the Director of Training, Col. Louey Abdulrahman Abdullah, thanked the University of Huddersfield, the organisers and faculty for their efforts to provide content that meets current and future challenges.
These programmes are part of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to develop security competencies through continuous education and training that keeps pace with rapid developments in artificial intelligence, disaster planning, and emergency situations. They also enhance personnel's capabilities to deal with modern security challenges efficiently and competently.
