The Northern Governor Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor emphasised that maintaining security is a national and collective responsibility that everyone shares. He highlighted that Bahrain draws its strength from the unity and solidarity of its people. This statement was made during his meeting with the residents of the Northern Governorate, attended by Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Saleh Al-Dosari, and Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al-Sayed.
The Governor praised the key messages in the speech delivered by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in which HE stressed the importance of national unity and the need to uphold the core values and traditions of Bahraini society. He noted that these principles are the foundation of security and stability in the Kingdom.
The Governor pointed out that the Northern Governorate has initiated numerous programmes and community initiatives designed to promote loyalty, belonging, and citizenship values. He encouraged residents to actively engage in proposing constructive programmes aimed at involving youth and developing preventive measures to enhance crime prevention strategies.
In addition, Brigadier Saleh Al-Dosari affirmed that citizens are the first line of defence in security matters, commending the role of heads of community centres (Mattams) in reinforcing citizenship and national unity.
Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al-Sayed highlighted that Bahraini society is characterised by its tolerance, emphasising the significance of social integration and the contributions of religious institutions in promoting a culture of coexistence and tolerance.
