The Capital Governorate Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Capital Municipality, has conducted inspection campaigns to tackle street vendor violations. Random carts and mattresses in markets and other places were confiscated to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing these activities. The directorate said that 35 campaigns were organised in September, during which 290 mattresses and 13 metal carts were confiscated. The campaign will continue throughout the year to limit violations and take required legal procedures.
