The Cyberspace Child Protection Unit of the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security in collaboration with the Little Trader Foundation, has launched the "Safety Stars Programme." This initiative is part of the Unit’s participation in the national campaign to protect children from cyber exploitation and extortion.
The programme involves selecting children to take part in workshops and practical activities, where they are trained in effective awareness strategies. These children then design and deliver presentations at schools, sports clubs, and cultural centres, engaging students from various grade levels. The aim is to promote a culture of safety and protection, raise awareness about cyber exploitation and extortion, and provide guidance on how to respond correctly.
