The National Disaster Management Centre participated in an exercise held in Kuwait for liaison officers from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The event aimed to promote cooperation and coordination.
The Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, said that the exercise was an opportunity to exchange views and expertise at the leading levels to deal with emergencies in the region. He said that participating in the training was part of the instructions of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan.
