The Public Security Presidency for Community Affairs, in collaboration with the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, has held a series of events and lectures for the visitors of UCO Elderly Care Centre to mark the International Day of Older Persons.
At the beginning of the event, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al-Sayed, welcomed the attendees. He stressed that the Community Police work system focuses on social roles, which have a major effect in consolidating the principle of community partnership with everyone.
The event included an awareness lecture on the role of community police in crime prevention. The senior citizens enjoyed various competitions and were treated to gifts.
