Traffic registers 768 violations by trucks in October

The General Directorate of Traffic registered 768 violations by heavy trucks in October, including driving during the peak period, crossing the speed limits, wrong overtaking, and not following safety rules such as tyres and lights. 

The General Directorate said that the law enforcement campaigns on heavy trucks include violations of load rules, risking the loads to fall on the road causing accidents and hindering traffic.

The General Directorate asserted the significance of trucks following the specific traffic rules for them, including periodic maintenance.
