The Acting Coast Guard Commander has inaugurated the 18th course for vessel captains at the Maritime Training Wing. It has participants from the Coast Guard, Bahrain Defence Force, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The course is part of the Coast Guard’s annual training programme, which aims to improve the skills of the participating personnel.
The 17-week course is divided into two phases covering the law on preventing collisions, maps, navigation devices, maritime emergencies, first aid, and vessel driving training.
