The Deputy Interior Minister, Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, receives the Head of Psychological Care and Addiction Affairs at the Health and Social Affairs Directorate, Dr Dania Naji Kabil. He received her for obtaining a PhD from the University of the Arabian Gulf. She handed him a copy of her scientific thesis entitled “The Effectiveness of a Guidance Programme in Modifying Criminal Thinking and Nonconformist Behaviour Among High-Refensive Alternative Punishment Inmates in the Kingdom of Bahrain”. It is considered the first therapeutic psychological study of its kind in the Kingdom.
The Deputy Minister of Interior congratulated her and praised the study's importance in supporting correctional programmes and providing new scientific foundations to enhance psychological culture in various societal circles. He expressed his pride in the presence of national cadres who contribute their efforts and knowledge to enrich scientific research and develop knowledge in vital fields that serve society. He wished her continued success in her professional and academic career.
