The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended an honouring ceremony for the participants in the introductory course for preparing and qualifying sports trainers and the introductory tactical shooting course for officers by the Public Security Sports Association.
The Chief hailed His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa's instructions and support for the association to enhance public security affiliates' physical fitness and further achieve sports milestones.
He asserted the Interior Ministry's dedication to offering opportunities, including training trainers through the highest professional levels, to enhance the physical and sports capabilities of the Interior Ministry’s affiliates.
The Association President, Brigadier Khalid Al Khayat, thanked the Chief for his support in developing the skills and capabilities of security personnel through various sports activities and courses.
At the end of the ceremony, the Chief distributed certificates among the trainers and supervisors. He wished them all the best.
