The Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor commended Bahraini doctors for their vital contributions to the Kingdom's healthcare system and sustainable development. He acknowledged the strong support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.
On Bahraini Doctors Day, the Northern Governor honoured a group of Bahraini doctors in the presence of the President of the Bahrain Medical Society, Dr Amer Al Derazi. He praised the doctors for their dedication and sacrifices, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and expressed profound pride in their service.
The Northern Governor highlighted that the governorate strengthened its community partnership with Bahraini doctors through the Healthy Cities Programme, incorporating their expertise and insights to implement various health initiatives on global health occasions.
The President of the Bahrain Medical Society and the honoured doctors expressed their sincere gratitude to the Northern Governor for recognising and motivating them to continue dedicating their efforts to service the country.
