The Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, Brigadier Mohammed Al Harram, chaired the Interior Ministry delegation at the 92nd General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL), held in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
During the session, several strategies, decisions and recommendations related to combating terrorism and transnational international crime were adopted, and the latest modern technologies strengthened mechanisms to reduce these crimes. The importance of using artificial intelligence programmes to combat crime was also highlighted, in addition to the extent of cooperation and coordination in the field of cybersecurity and combating crimes of sexual exploitation of children online.
