The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies will conduct a survey to assess community awareness regarding digital threats and prevention measures in Bahrain. The survey is conducted in cooperation with the Anti-Cyber Crimes Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security of the Interior Minister.
The survey aims to measure public awareness of the risks of cybercrimes by knowing the opinion of citizens and residents on the importance of promoting a culture of digital security and the ability of society to confront various types of cybercrimes.
The survey includes questions designed to examine participants’ knowledge of digital threat protection measures and standards, their experiences with online threats, and their practices for protecting personal information. The main objectives include assessing the impact of educational initiatives and identifying areas that need further awareness.
The survey results will provide a vital indicator for stakeholders, enabling them to develop strategies and campaigns to raise awareness about digital threats in their comprehensive sense. The survey is available to all via the centre’s website and social media accounts, and those wishing to participate can scan the QR code.
