The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, visited the soon-to-be-inaugurated Hawar Resort project. He was accompanied by the Interior Ministry Undersecretary of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affair, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and the President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed in Hamad Al Khalifa. Managing Director of Bareeq Al Retaj and Chairman of Hawar Hotels Company, Maher Al Shaer, received him.
The Chief asserted that the visit was part of the Interior Ministry's strategy to inspect security and safety measures at vital establishments to ensure the security and safety of citizens and residents. He highlighted the significance of such major tourism projects in achieving tourism development goals. He noted the efforts of all authorities in implementing the project, which is considered a remarkable addition to tourism in Bahrain.
The Chief inspected the resort’s utilities, infrastructure, safety procedures, emergency management, and security plans and measures. In the end, the Chief thanked all concerned bodies for facilitating the visit.
