The President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will take part in the extraordinary session of Green Customs, which comes within the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to held on November 20 in Azerbaijan.
The session aims to promote dialogue among customs leaders to share best practices and innovations in green customs policies and operations, which aim and seek to promote environmentally sustainable customs practices, reduce the environmental impact of customs operations, and support efforts to combat illicit trade in environmentally sensitive goods.
