Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor attended a health awareness event on diabetes, organised by the governorate in collaboration with the World Health Organisation for World Diabetes Day, with participation from health sector entities and students from government schools.
The Northern Governor emphasised the governorate's commitment to the Healthy Cities programme, highlighting its efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and foster community engagement through initiatives like the diabetes awareness event.
The event featured medical examinations and health awareness activities by Al Hilal Hospital, medical centres, and the Ministry of Health, alongside walking marathon with the students.
