Statistics indicate that Bangladeshi workers top the list of dangerous crimes and legal violations in general in a way that risks the safety of citizens, increases the state of anxiety and negatively affects society's stability.
The Interior Ministry highlighted crimes and violations the Bangladeshi workers committed in the sea, most lately a marine accident that led to seriously injuring a citizen. At the same time, a second one went missing, and the search is continuing for him.
The Interior Ministry asserted that the rise of crimes committed by Bangladeshi workers created a general feeling that they are not welcome within Bahraini society. It noted that all workers in the Kingdom of Bahrain should respect the laws and follow the genuine Bahraini traditions, adding that committing any violation, regardless of its type and intensity, would lead to the arrest and deportation of the violators according to the followed legal proceeding.
