Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor visited several sites to review the mosquito control campaign, accompanied by the Northern Municipal Council Head, Dr Sayed Shaber Al-Wadaei, and the World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative in Bahrain, Dr Tasneem Ghaleb Atatreh.
The Northern Governor reviewed the campaign's progress, highlighting the treatment of over 800 mosquito hotspots, pesticide application in more than 1,000 homes, and site remediation near residences. He emphasised the significance of multilingual community awareness and continuous fieldwork.
He expressed his gratitude to the key contributors and acknowledged the collaborative efforts of all involved in the campaign, including government authorities, health organisations, and relevant agencies.
