As part of strengthening community partnership, the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) hosted students from several government and private schools in a visit aimed at introducing them to the Academy’s role in training law enforcement officers and raising awareness about the importance of police work in serving the community.
During the visit, (RAP) Commander Major General Fawaz Hasan Al-Hasan, welcomed the students noting that the visit is part of the initiatives organised by the Academy to promote community interaction and raise awareness about security culture, in line with its goals of supporting a national vision that seeks to achieve a safe and prosperous society.
During the visit, the Academy officials, in coordination with the relevant staff from the National Cybersecurity Centre, delivered an awareness lecture on cybersecurity to the visiting students and several Academy members. The lecture aimed to raise community awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and the need to adopt safe digital practices.
For their part, the students and accompanying teachers expressed their happiness with the visit, emphasizing that it was a great opportunity to learn about the efforts of police officers in maintaining security and stability.
