Al Amn FM Radio Show focuses on the role of women in the Ministry of Interior. It hosted the Director of Administration Affairs at the General Directorate of Women Police, Lt-Col Ahad Rashid Najem.
During the meeting, the director reviewed the long history of the Bahraini Women Police, which was established more than half a century ago, and its pivotal role in enhancing national security by dealing with issues related to women and children and providing a safe environment that supports the stability of society. She also highlighted the efforts made to achieve sustainable development goals and Bahrain Vision 2030, stressing that the women police contribute effectively to empowering women, promoting community justice, and participating in international security missions.
She also discussed the most prominent achievements of the female police at the local and international levels, such as forming specialised crime scene teams and winning regional and international sports awards. She also referred to the events and initiatives of the General Directorate of Women Police to enhance community awareness, including awareness campaigns in schools and training workshops in cooperation with Civic Societies.
She concluded that female police are a security force and a key partner in building a safe and sustainable society. She expressed her pride in the achievements made by Bahraini women in the security sector and called for continued work to enhance their leadership roles and achieve more success.
