The Public Security Officers Club has achieved the Diamond Level Accreditation Certificate as a Health-Promoting Workplace, an achievement that reflects the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to promoting public health, a healthy work environment, and effective community partnerships with various official bodies.
Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, Major-General Adel Abdullah Ameen, Deputy Chairman of the Club’s Administrative Board, stressed that this achievement represents the integrated efforts that came with the support and guidance of His Excellency Interior Ministry General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in developing and spreading the concept of health in the work environment, which positively reflects on the services provided by the Public Security Officers Club. He praised the follow-up of the General Supervisor of the Club, Brigadier Nasser Ahmed Al Junaid, whose continuous follow-up had a direct impact on achieving this accreditation.
He pointed out that the Public Security Officers Club met all the requirements and standards necessary to obtain the certificate, including holding training courses and programmes in cooperation with the Director of Health and Social Affairs for the club’s members in public health, mental health, nutrition, physical fitness, and anti-smoking.
